The Captus Examity platform will have migrated to the new Captus Meazure platform by October 1. You may schedule and write your online exam with Examity until September 15, 2024. For any non-expired unscheduled exams, they will be moved to the new Meazure/ProctorU platform after September 16. An email invitation will be sent by October 1 for you to make a new appointment.

- In order to use the online proctoring service, your computer must meet
certain requirements, which are outlined in this site

requirements may result in you not being able to write the exam during the
scheduled time and you may be require to repay and reschedule your online
proctored exam. NOTE: While the system check linked to above notes that a minimum internet speed of 1.5 Mbps is required, Examity has updated its minimum requirements to include an upload and download speed of 2Mbps, with 10Mbps preferred. - To schedule your exam, log in to the
Examity website to set up your profile and select exam date &
time. If this is your first time writing an exam with Examity, you will receive an email from Examity with your login
information to set up your profile and schedule your exam. You will be charged for the proctoring fee upon scheduling your appoinment. Rescheduling can be
done within your student profile. If necessary, you can use the on-demand
scheduling option to reschedule your exam within 24 hours, which requires an
extra charge of US$5.
- On the scheduled exam date & time, log in to the
Examity website. When you are in the Examity site, click on "Start
Exam". This link will only be activated just prior to (about 15 minutes)
your scheduled exam time. The online proctor will start the authentication
process and open the exam site. When you are prompted by the proctor, enter
your Candidate Code (previously emailed to you by Captus Press) and the
proctor will enter the proctor code to begin the exam. If you don't have your Candidate Code, you won't be able to write the exam and need to reschedule and repay the onine proctor fee.
If you lose your Internet connection during your exam, please log back in to
your Examity profile and contact Examity via live chat or phone
1-855-392-6489 to re-connect to the exam. Please indicate your
school/organization is Captus.
- Exam times varies for each exam. Your exam time only starts
counting down after your proctor enters the proctor code and you press the
button to start your exam. Your answer will be auto-saved after each
question is submitted. There is a final review page containing all the
questions and answers. You may make changes on the final review page. You
must submit the exam by checking the check box and clicking the button at
the bottom of the review page.
Important Note:
For MAC users, we recommend that you use the Firefox or
Google Chrome browser during your final examination.

Chromebook is NOT an acceptable device to use for your
exam. It does not permit the proctor to enter their code on your
screen.

Your online exam session will be recorded for the
purposes of ensuring the integrity of the exam. You are also required to
present a valid government issued photo identification and provide a room
scan via your webcam to confirm that you are writing the exam alone.

If you are using Ad blocking software with your
browser, please disable it before proceeding to your exam. Ad blockers may
prevent you from entering the answers to your exam.
