Accredited Certificate with National Knowledge Exam Exemption

The CPHR Academic Program is now offering the option of an accredited certificate that provides an exemption from the requirement to take the National Knowledge Examination. It is valid for residents of most provinces and territories, except for Ontario and Quebec.
There are three general requirements to claim the NKE exemption as follows:

  • All nine courses in the CPHR Academic Program must be completed.
  • The Grade requirement is an average of at least 70% over the nine courses, in addition to achieving the 65% or greater passing grade in each course.
  • You must be a member in good standing of your provincial association.

To find out if you may be eligible for this option, please click on your CPHR Association link below to learn about the important additional requirements for each province and territory. There, you will also find a link to the application form for this option.
