Understanding FUS Fire Protection Grades

In this course, Michael Currie of Risk Management Services (RMS) provides an overview of the Fire Underwriters Survey (FUS) grading system with emphasis on the components that are used to establish residential and commercial grades across Canada. You will review the definitions of each fire protection grade and gain a good understanding of why a municipality achieves a protected, semi protected or unprotected grade. Topics of discussion include water supply for fire departments, fire apparatus and fire department operations. You will also learn how your brokerage can access the FUS application for “FREE”.
